Plenary Session: Living with advanced kidney cancer

Co-chaired by Prof. Silke Gillessen (CH) and Dr. Carmen Mir Maresma (ES), the RCC Plenary Session on Monday 8 April (08:00 – 10:30), will focus on key topics for locally advanced and first-line metastatic kidney cancer. Real-world applicability of adjuvant immunotherapy for high-risk patients post-nephrectomy will be debated, featuring input from a live patient, and addressing legal considerations.

Treatment intensification for first-line metastatic RCC will be discussed, as well as recent results from triplet therapy trials. Additionally, a lecture on surgery and the emerging role of SBRT in oligometastatic RCC will be presented.
