EAU Chopin Award 2026
Chopin Award for Non-Urologist Researchers
The Chopin Award celebrates excellence and achievements in translational research in urology, which is defined as a fundamental research discovery with the potential for future clinical development to benefit urological patients. The award is given annually to a researcher of excellence with more than 10 years of postdoctoral experience, with at least the last five years spent working in Europe and presently employed in a European institution.
How to apply?
Applications should include a 10-page CV (with ORCID), a publication list, and a motivation statement. All documents must be sent to esur@uroweb.org until 17 January 2026.
Applicants must be EAU members.
The award winner will receive a €5,000 honorarium. The 2026 winner will be announced during the EAU Section of Urological Research Session in London and will give an award lecture at the EAU27 Congress.
The Jury will be chaired by the Board chair of the EAU Section of Urological Research and composed of Board Members of the EAU Section Office and the EAU Scientific Congress Committee.
