Access to Prescription‑Only Medicine (POM) Exhibition Booths
During the 41st Annual EAU Congress (EAU26), we have implemented specific measures to ensure compliance with ABPI guidance as well as all applicable national and international pharmaceutical regulations.
Access Restrictions for ABPI‑Relevant Exhibition Areas
In line with the ABPI Guidance for Scientific Conferences and Events, access to exhibition booths displaying prescription‑only medicines (POMs) is strictly limited to:
- Certified healthcare professionals (HCPs)
- Individuals legally qualified to prescribe medicines
- Pharmacists
- Other Relevant Decision Makers (ORDMs), as defined by ABPI guidance.

Badge Identification
To ensure compliant access control:
Delegates who meet the criteria to access POM‑related areas will have a “P” printed on their congress badge.
This designation is based solely on information submitted during registration.
Responsibility of the Registering Party
It is the responsibility of the registering party to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Confirm that the professional role declared aligns with ABPI definitions (including HCP, ORDM, and pharmacist categories).
The EAU does not take responsibility for verifying information provided and accepts no liability for inaccurate or incomplete data supplied during registration.
