EAU Crystal Matula Award 2026
For a young, promising urologist.
The EAU Crystal Matula Award 2026 is the most prestigious prize given to a young, promising urologist aged 40 or under who has the potential to become one of the future leaders in academic urology.
The award will be presented at the Opening Ceremony of the upcoming 41st Annual EAU Congress in London, 13-16 March 2026.
How to apply for National Societies?
National Societies can nominate a candidate holding an EAU membership for this award, by supplying the following documents:

- Letter of recommendation
- Complete Curriculum Vitae of the candidate including:
- List of publications in the sequence below:
1. Peer-reviewed papers (including the impact factors of the journals), such as: original articles, reviews, and/or case reports.
2. Book chapters or editor of books - Overview of grants received from (inter-)national institutions or the industry
- List of received Awards
- H-index
- List of publications in the sequence below:
How to apply for Individuals?
Please note that eligible candidates can also apply for this award themselves by contacting their national urological society requesting an endorsement letter. The candidate is then expected to submit this letter together with a motivational letter and the above mentioned CV details.
