EAU22: 1,287 abstracts in 78 Abstract Sessions
The 37th Annual EAU Congress (EAU22) promises to be the quintessential platform for exceptional research in the field of urology. Of the 3,380 abstracts submitted for presentation, 1,192 have been accepted. In addition, 95 of the 282 submitted video abstracts have been accepted, which makes a total acceptance rate of 35.1%: a 4.6% increase in comparison with EAU21, which reflects this year’s high-quality submissions.
All accepted abstracts will be presented at EAU22, which will take place in Amsterdam from 18 to 21 March 2022. In total, 14 Video Sessions, including an award session, and 64 Abstract Sessions, including the Best of EAU22 Abstract Session, will ensure that delegates will leave the congress fully up to date on all cutting-edge urological research.
Most popular topics
Just like last year, Prostate Cancer is the most popular topic in the pool of accepted abstracts. The topic of Renal Tumour is the subject that climbed the most: it entered the top three of accepted abstracts to be presented and is even the most popular topic in the accepted video abstracts.

Presentations
At EAU22, the Abstract Sessions will not include any posters anymore; instead, each accepted abstract for presentation will be presented in two minutes at the most. Accepted video abstracts will have a duration of not more than eight minutes.
