Session Explanation

Plenary Sessions

From the most controversial and urgent issues in urology to the newest treatment strategies and best clinical practices, experts provide their views and insights in panel debates, case presentations and state-of-the-art lectures and updates.

Thematic Sessions

The core issues and challenges in urology are grouped in various thematic sessions to examine and highlight research updates, the experience of expert centres and the pressing questions that confront urologists in their daily practice.

Abstract Sessions

Insights are shared and the interactive discussions are aimed to deepen urological knowledge in these sessions that present the newest research studies from European and overseas institutions. Abstracts are presented and discussed during Poster and Video sessions and are available on demand.

Section Meetings

Each of the 13 Sections that make up the EAU Section Office is organising a special Section Meeting during EAU24. These meetings cover a wide range of topics, such as oncology, reconstruction urology, paediatrics, female urology and neuro-urology, among many others. The Section Meetings create opportunities for urologists to exchange experiences with like-minded colleagues. The sections also run many ambitious projects, organise meetings and educational activities.

Industry sessions are not a part of the official EAU24 scientific programme and fall therefore outside the remit of the EAU Scientific Committee.

Nurses Programme

This year’s three-day International EAUN Meeting, EAUN24, provides a forum for presenting original unpublished data and sharing ideas for urological nursing innovation as well as disseminating (evidence-based) knowledge of primary clinical importance and of particular relevance to the role of the nurse.
