While increasingly sophisticated robots, urology training, imaging and screening may seem likely urological candidates for AI integration, on the third day of EAU26 in London it became clear that AI will also become integrated in endourology in the near future. Prof. Alberto Briganti (IT) and Dr. Vania Wisdom (GB) chaired today’s session “European Urology meets The Lancet: The future of urological care”, where an update was shared on the Lancet-European Urology collaborative review series. EAUTV: Prostate cancer screening and AI-assisted diagnosis
In this edition of EAUTV on Day 3 at EAU26 in London, our panel of experts discussed prostate cancer screening and AI-assisted diagnosis. Moderator Prof. Veeru Kasivisvanathan (GB) chaired the conversation with Dr. Sigrid Carlsson (DE), Prof. Jonas Hugosson (SE), Dr. Maarten de Rooij (NL). They talked about the Gothenburg study presented at the game changer session, findings from the PROBASE trial, and the progress being made with AI-assisted MRI.
