It’s time to get ready for Amsterdam!

In just a few days the congress doors will open! We have compiled some useful logistical information to help delegates prepare for their trip to Amsterdam, and participation in the congress.

In just a few days the congress doors will open for the first in-person Annual congress since EAU19 in Barcelona. We have compiled some useful logistical information to help delegates prepare for their trip to Amsterdam, and participation in the congress.

Getting to the venue
The RAI Congress Centre is easily accessible by public transport, especially train and metro. The Congress Centre has two metro stations, on two different lines: Station RAI (which is combined with the railway station of same name) and the newer Europaplein, which is right in front of the main entrance. Find more address details and travel suggestions here.

The registration desks are already open on Thursday, 30 June and delegates can pick up their congress badge or finalise registration or ask any questions.

Thu, 30 June: 8:00 – 20:00
Fri, 1 July: 7:00 – 20:00
Sat, 2 July: 6:45 – 19:30
Sun, 3 July: 7:00 – 19:15
Mon, 4 July: 7:00 – 17:15

For all other opening hours, like the Exhibition, Speaker Service Centre and more, see the Congress Site.

ESU Courses and Hands-on Training Sessions
Several ESU Courses and Hands-on Training sessions are still available! With an individual registration for EAU22, delegates can log in here and add a course or training session to their registration. For those registered as part of a group, course sign up is done via e-mail stating the desired courses or there is a sign up on-site option at the ESU Courses & Hands-on Training Registration desk in the registration area.

EAU22 and COVID-19: There are currently no restrictions in the Netherlands. At EAU22, delegates can wear a mask if preferred, and it is important to stay at home if any flu-like symptoms develop.

Scientific Programme & Congress App
This year, there is no printed Programme Book, but there is a printed, condensed ‘Programme and Exhibition’ booklet. For the most detailed and up-to-date scientific programme, it is best to consult the Congress Website or download the app.

The EAU22 app is now live – this is a very handy tool that allows delegates to browse the scientific programme and create their own personal agenda with the app planner. Download the EAU Association App for free in the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) and then select the EAU22 event. Once the app is downloaded and EAU22 event selected, it can be used offline.

Exhibition
The EAU22 Exhibition is the place to visit booths from a huge variety of urology-related companies, and find out about the latest technology, instruments and other services on offer that may help daily practice. At the EAU Booth the team can answer questions about membership, distribute the EAU guidelines books or the EAU History Office books. The Exhibition opens on Friday at noon, and closes on Monday at 16:00.

Accessing the Virtual Platform
For those attending EAU22 as an Online-only participant, or if delegates want to start browsing uploaded abstracts and presentations before arriving in Amsterdam, that is possible via the EAU22 Virtual Platform, by simply logging in with MyEAU information. During the congress, this is also where it is possible to watch accredited, on-demand content as it becomes available. These login details will also be needed to access the EAU22 Resource Centre and claim Certificate of Attendance and CME points once the congress finishes.

EAU22 Opening Ceremony
Delegates are invited to attend the EAU22 Opening Ceremony on Friday, 1 July at 18:00 in eURO Auditorium 1. The Ceremony features special guests and the prestigious EAU Awards.

Coverage of #EAU22
During EAU22, there will be round-the-clock live coverage on our social media channels, as well as reports on the Congress Website and a daily digital newsletter. We will also see the return of EAU TV: recorded, on-site interviews with key opinion leaders about the day’s major developments. For candidates staying home, it is possible to join in the conversation on Twitter or other platforms with #EAU22!

The EAU22 site also has a chat feature where it is possible to ask questions.
