Session Explanation
Abstract Sessions
Insights are shared and the interactive discussions are aimed to deepen urological knowledge in these sessions that present the newest research studies from European and overseas institutions. Abstracts are presented and discussed during Oral abstract sessions, Expert-Guided Poster Tours and Video sessions.
EAU Section Meetings
Several sections of the EAU Section Office are composing a separate or collaborated ‘Section Meeting’ at EAU25 focusing on their expertise. These meetings (or sessions) cover a wide range of topics, such as oncology, reconstructive urology, female urology and neuro-urology, among many others. The sections also run many other projects and educational activities outside of the Annual Congress.
ESU Courses
From core and basic specialties in urology to more advanced masterclass courses, the European School of Urology (ESU) annually presents a CME-credited curriculum of to enhance the capabilities of young and mid-career urologists.
Hands-on Training Courses
Hands-on Training (HOT) courses, organised by the European School of Urology, are popular expert-led training sessions in which participants can develop and refine specific skills using innovative and realistic simulators or models.
Industry Sessions & Seminars
Industry sessions & seminars showcase cutting-edge data, research, and insights on pharmaceutical advancements and equipment development. The Industry sessions are often scheduled in larger rooms, while the seminars are held in rooms with a capacity of 100 participants, fostering an interactive and engaging atmosphere. All industry sessions will be live streamed.

Live Surgery Sessions
Well-attended not only by urologists but also by medical professionals from related fields, the live surgery sessions showcase best practices by some of the world’s leading uro-surgical experts. These sessions also address the challenges and practical issues faced by surgeons in real-world practice.
Nurses Programme
The three-day International Annual EAUN Meeting, EAUN25, provides a forum for presenting original unpublished data and sharing ideas for urological nursing innovation as well as disseminating (evidence-based) knowledge of primary clinical importance and of particular relevance to the role of the nurse. Special sessions are organised by urology-related groups or societies to present on highly specialised topics or to focus on a specific target audience. These sessions offer in-depth insights and tailored content for attendees with particular interests or professional backgrounds.
Thematic Sessions
Thematic sessions focus on core issues and challenges in various subspecialisations of urology. These sessions delve into research updates, share experiences from expert centres, and address the pressing questions that urologists encounter in their daily practice.
Urology Beyond Europe
The EAU has ties with urological societies from around the world. The Urology Beyond Europe sessions brings experts together from these societies and those who represent the EAU. Together, they address a selection of pressing topics in urology today, creating a uniquely international exchange in insights and daily practice.
